Your team

Add someone to your account

Updated

Your £25 covers you and two crew. Nobody has to jump up a tier to give an apprentice the week's work.

The three roles

  • Owner — you. Everything, including the billing and who's on the account.
  • Admin — quotes, invoices, payments, everything except the billing and who's on the account.
  • Crew — their jobs, the schedule, photos and guide prices. No quotes, no invoices, no payments.

Crew cannot quote, invoice, take a payment or send a guide price. That's refused on our side, not just hidden.

Seeing the figures works differently. The app keeps quote and invoice totals, payments and job costs off their screens. It doesn't lock them away from a crew login, though, so someone technical could still read them. If that would matter, don't add them.

Steps

  1. Open Settings, find People, and tap Edit.
  2. Under Add someone, choose Crew or Admin.
  3. Put in Their email address and tap Send invite.

They get an email with a link to join. They put in their name, and they're in your account rather than starting one of their own. Nobody can join in their place without that email.

The link works for 14 days. If they lose it, they can sign in with the address you used and we'll email them a new one.

Choosing the role

Ask one question: should this person handle the money?

Someone quoting and chasing money is an admin. Someone turning up and doing the work is crew. When in doubt make them crew — moving someone up later is easy, and un-seeing a price list is not.

Changing a role or removing someone

On People, tap Make admin or Make crew next to their name. It tells you what the change does to your bill before you confirm.

Remove takes them off your account and deletes their sign-in. What they did stays on your jobs, and you can add them again later with the same email address.

What extra people cost

The £25 covers one admin and two crew, and you, the owner, count as the admin. So every admin you add is £10 a month, and every crew member after the first two is £5.
