Something not working?

Email hello@grafter.ly and a person will read it. Tell us what you were doing and what happened instead — a screenshot helps more than anything.

Before you email

The help centre walks through the things people ask about most — getting enquiries into your inbox, building a quote, sending an invoice and taking payment. The FAQ covers what grafter.ly does and what it costs.

The iPhone app

The app signs you in to the grafter.ly account you already have. If you have never had one, sign up on the website first — there is no signup in the app.

  • The sign-in link won't open the app. Open the email on the phone the app is installed on. If it still opens a browser, use the “Get a code to sign in” link in the same email and type the code into the app.
  • Sign in with Apple says there's no account. Apple tells us the email on your Apple ID, and it has to match the one your grafter.ly account uses. Sign in with your email instead, then connect Apple from Settings on the website.
  • Notifications aren't arriving. Check Settings → Notifications → grafter.ly on your phone. If you said no the first time we asked, iOS won't ask again — turning them on there is the only way back.
  • Something looks out of date. Pull down on the jobs list to refresh. The app shows you the last thing it loaded when you have no signal, so a tunnel or a thick-walled cellar will do it.

Your account

Your plan, your payment details and the people in your business are all under Settings on the website. If you're part of someone else's business and want to leave it, Settings has a card for that — it closes your account and signs you out everywhere.

Something more serious

If you think your account has been accessed by someone else, or you have had an email that looks like it came from us and didn't, email hello@grafter.ly and say so in the subject line. What we do with your data, and what you can ask us to do with it, is in the privacy policy.
